Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be in theaters in Singapore on Dec 17th, 2015. According to Reddit user MyWholeTeamisDead,
Called up GV (the only ones with a working hotline) and asked them about two things – presale and premiere.
- Even though cinemas in the USA have begun selling tickets today (which the GV rep was clueless about), the pre-sale window for Singapore cinemas is only 1 to 2 weeks before release – no exceptions for TFA.
- There is no word on a premiere. The GV rep told me that if there is a premiere, it will be only at ONE cinema across the whole nation (WE/Filmgarde/GV/ Cathay/Shaw) at only one branch. The distributor (Lucasfilm/Disney) will decide if there will be a premiere and where to hold it.
Bummer. Confirm on Dec 3/Dec 10 all cinema websites kenna crash.
I myself am very excited to see this movie, and will definitely be checking the cinema websites repeatedly for tickets 😀
But how can you convince your wife (or gf) that she wants to watch it too?
Check out some ways to possibly ~incept~ it into her mind 😉
These C-3P0 flats are so adorable, not to mention limited edition! Thanks to the geniuses at Irregular Choice, your wifey could be one of us now huehuehue >:]
“This pair of C-3PO Flats is the perfect protocol for your special event. They’re black faux suede with Threepio’s head jin gold applique on the toe and silver edge details. The heels are sparkly. Although they look and feel like leather, they’re PU and fabric, so no banthas were harmed in the creation of these shoes.”

2. Buy her this Star Wars Bowling Bag Style Purse
Their description is a fun one,
“THESE *ARE* THE HANDBAGS YOU’RE LOOKING FOR!
When Princess Leia Organa smuggled the Death Star plans off of her stricken starship, what did she use to carry them? That’s right – she used a large hulking astromech designated R2-D2. The droid was able to successfully complete its mission and deliver the plans to General Kenobi, though it did so with no style or practicality whatsoever. If only the princess had a nice handbag!
The right bag, matched to her wardrobe, would have been a fantastic addition to her ensemble. Hooked on her arm, her new purse could have not only carried Death Star plans, but also a blaster, lightsaber, droid-recall unit, plus all the pins and clips necessary to keep her hair in place (no small feat in any galaxy but particularly in one far, far away).”
3. If she loves cooking.. immerse her life in the kitchen with these measuring cups
Have a Star Wars Party, and bake some Star Wars Cookies using these measuring cups 🙂
With so many Star Wars artefacts around her, she may start wondering what they really are, and might even enjoy the premiere even more!
And finally, once you have converted her… bring her to the show in this stunning dress by Rebecca Dorky:
These dresses are made to order, so make sure you order yours soon! Since each dress is made individually, you can also ask Rebecca to custom fit it for you. Plenty have gotten compliments, and with 126 reviews and 5/5 stars, I know I would be ordering one for myself if I were a woman.
